elcome to our website. We are a newly formed animal welfare organization located in Carriacou, part of the tri-island state of Grenada in the Windward Islands of the Carribbean.
A beautiful little unspoiled island with a population of about 5,000, mostly slave descendents, Carriacou is is part of a developing nation. A need has been recognized for the welfare of Carriacou's animals as the means to properly care for them is not always within reach of its people. The Carriacou Animal Rescue Effort has been created to find ways to improve the lives of animals here.
